SCHOOL RULES
All Junior students at South Austin Karate must follow the school rules:
1. Must brush their teeth every night and every morning without being asked.
2. Must make their bed every morning, no exceptions.
3. Must do their chores. Number of chores determined by belt rank below.
4. Must be respectful at home.
5. Must be respectful at school.
6. Must read for 20 minutes every day.
Students are required to bring a chore list daily, listing their required number of chores and the name of the book they are reading. The chore list is NOT to include numbers 1 or 2 from above list!

REMEMBER:
The numbers represent the required amount of chores per day a martial artist of each rank is responsible for.
Holidays, vacations, and weekends do not excuse you from doing your chores. However, chore lists do not need to be turned in for these days unless it is a camp day.
Academic achievement is essential to the success of our students. We expect our students to maintain a grade point average of 90% or above. All students, elementary through high school, are expected to turn in report cards. The overall success of your child is very important to us. Since 1992 SAK has recorded averages of our students and have maintained a 94% average ever since. Over the last two years, however, we have averaged 95%, higher than any academy, school or program of any description in the country.
