ABOUT BA KI DO
The Art of Ba Ki Do is an eclectic art combining traditional Martial Arts with the real world experience of training methods developed by Educators, Criminal Justice experts, Police Forces as well as Women's Self Defense and Child Development Programs. The focus of the Art of Ba Ki Do is a long range development of respect for family values, education and self worth. We have also integrated a longbow archery system into the art to add another facet to the discipline. Antiquated traditions such as signing contractual agreements, for children who may not be successful in a Martial Arts environment are replaced by individual results. The focus of South Austin Karate has given a viable success rate for A.D.D. and A.D.H.D. as well as average and gifted students. South Austin Karate boasts a student scholastic average of 95% in 2003 and 2004, and 94% from 1992 to 2006 and back up again to 95% in 2007 and 2008, making it the highest average of any academy of any kind in the Nation!!!
